Eric’s journey to the world of business started first as a Junior College All-American at Vincennes University in Indiana where he broke several records in scoring and rebounding. He was highly recruited by many major colleges across the country. He selected Providence College in Rhode Island where he became an All Big East performer. Eric’s play led him to be drafted by Larry Bird and The Boston Celtics 14th in the 1995 NBA draft. Eric spent the next twelve years as a professional basketball player in the NBA playing seven of those seasons with the Boston Celtics and other teams. Eric wanted to be involved in business because he saw his mentor ( Ernest Ruffin) being successful at it. While playing basketball professionally he began his pursuit as an entrepreneur.

Eric always had an interest in real estate and purchased several properties in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Florida. He also invested in a women’s fitness franchise, created a music business and is partners in a technology company as well as becoming Sr. VP of Business Development ECSMG Consulting, LLC and has an ownership stake in a Merchant Services LTD out of Miami www.merchantservicesltd.com.  Eric also started a non-profit the Believe In Me Foundation whereby he would purchase a dentist chair and equipment and place it in inner-city schools providing dental care to less fortunate youth. His work ethic, business savvy and desire to consistently succeed is paying dividends for ECSMG. “Eric’s is on his way to accumulating major success in business like he did in professional basketball” states Ernest Ruffin.
